Handtool

There is a selection of tools used to renovate houses in House Flipper. Many of these are unlocked through completing jobs. Some tools can also be upgraded from the perks menu to unlock greater efficiency.

House Flipper inventory tools[]

  • Move Objects Tool: move and rotate furniture and other items, also used to pick up trash and remove weeds.
  • Clean Tool: (mop) cleans dirt, graffiti, spills, and other stains on objects, walls, roof, and floor.
  • Paint Tool: change the color of walls using one of the buckets of paint purchased in the shop.
  • Sell Objects Tool: used to remove items for money, can also be used to remove trash.
  • Build Walls Tool: create additional walls in order to make rooms. It is often paired with the build lintels tool in order to make a room with an entryway.
  • Build Lintels Tool: used to separate rooms but still be able to enter the area. Doors can be placed directly underneath lintels unless another item or furniture is already blocking the way.
  • Demolition Tool: (sledgehammer) removes interior walls.
  • Tiling and Paneling Tool: apply panels, wallpaper, and tiles to walls. Requires that you have a stack of any of the aforementioned items in order to panel walls.
  • Flamethrower Tool: (added 10th June 2020) burns grass, weeds, and furniture. Must be refueled after sustained usage, fuel can be purchased in the shop.

Tools not accessed by the inventory[]

  • Plaster: used to fill holes in the walls of the house, a plaster bucket must first be bought from the shop to access and use it in the first place.
  • Vacuum: you must first find a cockroach nest and then activate it. It is used so that the cockroaches can be sucked in and eventually removed from the house.
  • Shovel: used to remove piles of gravel or remove mole hills on a lot. Comes with Garden Flipper.

Garden Flipper tools[]

  • Hose: removes dirt/stains from the outside of the house and waters plants in order to complete the planting cycle.
  • Petrol Lawn Mower: cuts grass and weeds faster and with more control over where you're mowing than the bush cutter.
  • Brush Cutter: does not mow as precisely or as fast as the petrol lawn mower, but is able to reach areas closer to plants, a house, the fence or the side bushes quicker and easier.
  • Axe: cuts down trees.
  • Shovel: used in the planting cycle to dig the plant into the ground. It is also used for pools and other plant/installs in the outdoor area.
